Reflection

We started planning the meeting by figuring what the topic would be. We decided on pollution, because it’s an important issue that the world faces. We set up a time and a place for the meeting. Beforehand, we made a well throughout agenda about how we're going to try and reduce the pollution rate. We did the meeting and shared roles fairly. The meeting started with the chairman of our group welcoming us to it. We throughout the meeting discussed the agenda that we wrote. We threw out ideas to help reduce the pollution rate. Some ideas were countered for the unlikeliness of their success for they were too unrealistic. Our group kept brainstorming and trying to come up with the best methods to help the future. We ended the meeting by coming up with the best ideas to help the issue we are discussing. If we were to be working for those who help the environment rather than students, these ideas would have been remarkable to us, and we would not hesitate to start our journey on fixing the world from pollution. In the end the chairman again thanked the group for joining the meeting and he closed it. We went afterwards to write a report about the meeting including what we said and what solutions we came up with.

Interview Report

The interview was about Saeed Al Katheeri.  The interview started with the headmaster Hedley asking Saeed to talk about himself. Saeed talked about where he is from and his experiences. He said he has 4 years experiences working as an accountant. He has a bachelor degree in the Higher College of Technology. Saeed was asked about the college, good and bad. Saeed complained about the time table; how crowded it was. He said that the teachers there are a great help to us. Then Ghanem started asking. Starting off with asking what is a good accountant. He said a man who knows exactly what he is doing and is very honest. Hamed lastly asked about his weakness. Saeed said he dislikes rude people and they bring out the worst in him.
About Saeed’s attire. He dressed very officially. He did not have a lot of body language. He hardly moved his hands. I think hand gestures are very important. However, he maintained good eye contact.
Saeed’s language was great. He has proper grammar, not perfect, but proper grammar. His tone was good.  Good poise as well.
The hardest question Saeed faced is about pressure. He said he can handle it and found it hard to find a good example considering he did not find any huge pressure so far in the job to support his statement about how he handles pressure.
Saeed was well prepared for the interview. I assume he will be accepted for the job considering his confidence and his experiences.
